What Does “Sell” or “Share” Mean?

In the context of Trucking Talent, this may include allowing trucking companies to access driver profiles for recruiting and hiring purposes, where employers pay for access to the Platform or specific profile features.
Importantly:
- Trucking Talent does not sell personal information in the traditional sense.
- Personal information is shared only for job-matching and recruiting purposes.
- Drivers control how their information is shared through profile settings.
How Your Information Is Shared
Drivers may choose between two profile types:
Basic Profile
When you activate a Basic Profile, your profile information, including contact details, may be made available to trucking companies immediately.
Matched Profile
With a Matched Profile, your contact information remains hidden. Employers may request to connect with you, and your contact details are shared only if you explicitly approve each request.
Your Right to Opt Out
You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time.
If you opt out:
- Your personal information will no longer be shared with new employers for recruiting purposes.
- Employers will not be able to purchase access to your profile.
- You may continue to use the Platform, subject to certain feature limitations.
Exercising this right will not result in discrimination or reduced service quality, except where sharing your information is necessary to provide job-matching services you request.
How to Submit an Opt-Out Request
You may submit an opt-out request using one of the methods below:

Option 2: Account Settings
If you have an account, you may manage your privacy preferences through your account settings, where available.
Processing Your Request
Once we receive your request:
- We will verify your identity.
- We will process your request in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
- You will receive confirmation once your opt-out request has been completed.
Authorized Agents
If you are a California resident, you may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and verification of your identity.
